Patchwork
Patchwork, for me, is the art of bringing pieces together — fragments of fabric, memories, and stories. Every square and every seam carries its own past, yet when they meet, something new and meaningful is created. It’s a slow, thoughtful process: choosing textures, learning the character of each material, and letting them find their place beside one another.
Working with natural and reclaimed textiles adds another layer to this journey. Old fabrics from my grandmother’s wardrobe, alongside sustainable materials like cork or pineapple textile, form a bridge between past and present. Patchwork allows me to honor what came before while creating something that can be loved now.
In every piece, there is intention, patience, and connection. Patchwork isn’t just a technique — it’s a way of celebrating heritage, embracing imperfection, and finding beauty in the details that hold our stories together.
