Corkwood

Just one other favourite is the material of corkwood. The pine oak is a valuable, special tree species in soma area of the Mediterranean coast. On the trunk and its older brunches a thick, flexible, light layer is formed which can be peeled several times because of the inner regenerating. The oak is not cut to produce cork, the forests are the home of birds and butterflies. In the undergrowth of the forests there are lots of herb species, too.
